Denis Lussier
Founder and Chief Architect
Chief Architect and Founder of OpenSCG, has more than 20 years of experience providing innovative solutions through his expert knowledge of both business and technology. Denis has spent his career building technical solutions that span many industries including telecom, finance and manufacturing. He is also a pioneer in offshore development, establishing low-cost development centers in India as early as 1999.
Among his significant previous positions, Denis was the Founder and Chief Architect of EnterpriseDB, a software company that added Oracle compatibility to PostgreSQL. Prior to EnterpriseDB, he was CEO and Founder of Fusion Technologies, a successful technology services business with over 200 employees.
Faiz Husain
Chief Operating Officer
Chief Operating Officer, has more than 20 years of experience leading global engineering organizations. Prior to joining OpenSCG, Faiz was Vice President of Product Development at EnterpriseDB. While at EnterpriseDB, Faiz founded the India development center and was responsible for all global product development efforts for EnterpriseDB’s flagship RDBMS product. Prior to EnterpriseDB, Faiz was Vice President in the IT Strategy & Governance group at State Street Corporation. While at State Street, Faiz was responsible for managing technology operations for the Investment Management Solutions division, development of a middle-office trade workflow system and Infrastructure enablement of IT globalization projects.
Prior to State Street, Faiz spent 12 years leading development teams at a number of software companies, including Princeton Financial Systems, Datalogix International and Magna Software.
Charles Gerth
Partner and GM
Partner and GM, has more than 19 years of experience providing strategic guidance and maximizing business value from innovative technology solutions. Prior to joining OpenSCG, he served on the executive leadership team of Alliance Global Services as Senior Vice President of Application Services leading Alliance’s solution team. Alliance is a global software development firm focused on software innovation for software, technology and information intensive businesses. Prior to Alliance he served as Fusion Technologies COO, building a world class global technology consultancy delivering internet media, e-commerce and trading solutions for technology, information and financial services organizations eventually ensuring a successful exit for the Partnership. Charles holds a BSEE with a computer focus from New Jersey Institute of Technology.
George Williams
Partner and GM India
George brings over 15 years of experience in database and application engineering management. Prior to OpenSCG, George was the Director of Professional Services at EnterpriseDB where he was responsible for technical support, customer training and professional services. Before EnterpriseDB, George was the VP of Solutions at Alliance Consulting where he handled software project execution and delivery management for the Java and testing competencies.
Scott Mead
Partner and Sr. Architect
Scott brings a depth of knowledge from years of hands on experience configuring servers and applications for large scale production use. Before OpenSCG, Scott was the principal systems engineer for EnterpriseDB where he was responsible for delivering many customer facing deliverables. Prior to EnterpriseDB, Scott was a Systems Administrator at Fusion Technologies responsible for Fusion’s global network spanning three continents.
